In the Heart of Plettenberg Bay
The dream to open our own Guest House began in 2017, and what a journey it has been. After many hours of Googling, kilometres of travelling and many months of searching and viewing, our hearts kept leading us back to beautiful Plettenberg Bay. We are grateful to have finally been able to establish a place of our own that we can call home, and where you can relax, breathe and just be – by the sea. A dream come true, we so look forward to welcoming you to Plettenberg View, which offers vistas of the bay, from the magnificent Robberg Reserve all the way to the majestic Formosa Peak in the Tsitsikama Mountains.
Bedrooms
All 5 en suite bedrooms have their own balcony and seating area, from where you can enjoy your view. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room, or outside on the upper balcony. Any which way, you will not lose your view of the ocean. Comfort is a quality that we are proud of here, so relax and enjoy the feel of 100% crisp cotton percale sheets as you sink into your king-size or single bed, reminiscing about the day’s events. Your room has a flat screen smart TV and you will also have access to free wifi throughout the property. Your room has its own private patio entrance.
Living Areas
On arrival at Plettenberg View, you will enter through the beautiful wooden double door, where the spacious entrance hall is your first port of call. From here you will lead off to your suite with a view, to the comfortable lower lounge and patio; perfect spots to relax with a book. There is also a staircase that leads you to the upstairs living areas of the Guest House, where you can relax in the splendour of the unsurpassed views of the bay.
Relax in the garden and cool off in the pool
The newly planted garden is a work in progress which is being lovingly tended to, and where any new growth, bud or flower is celebrated. Various birds have made themselves very much at home in and around the tree that houses the bird feeders and shelters their birdbaths. There is a seating area nearby too, a place where you can go and enjoy some peace and quiet, read a book, chill or just be….with the birds.

Andrew and Cherry have an absolutely beautiful property, with an outstanding large balcony looking onto spectacular panoramic views over Plettenberg Bay and the ocean. We saw the photos online and couldn’t believe the size and facilities, including pool, but the photos are true and the property lifts your spirits. Plettenberg View is located in a smart residential area, with good off-street parking, and is just a short drive into town. The more local bars and restaurants also offer a really good variety. Small touches inside include lovely artwork throughout and a good selection of books, should you want a browse. Communication with Cherry and Andrew was friendly, easy, and professional from the outset. They accommodated our timescales to make it a bit easier for us, and were really supportive throughout our visit.
I would highly recommend this property in many regards.
We were very sad to leave and I could have spent all day on the balcony alone. You won’t be disappointed.

Went hiking, took a walk by the Sanctuary and Beacon Beach. We also explored the beautiful restaurants around..what a breathtaking place to be. We will definitely come back again. And the Hosts, Andrew and Cherry were so kind and warm. The breakfast was very nice.

What is this a amazing and stunning place and then I’m only talking about the accommodation and the views! It is so beautiful! The rooms are gorgeous and very clean! The breakfast is superb and then the hosts, what a lovely people to meet! Andrew and cherry are really kind and very helpful with everything. They will kindly help you with really everything! If you wanna eat some where or go some where they will call and reserve anything for you just to make your stay extra comfort! If they can help you with anything just ask! I’ve been all over the world and this accommodation with these hosts are really exceptional! The accommodation is really close to everything. The Robberg is just around the corner just like te city center. Plet has a lot to offer just like the B&B! They just recent reopen the B&B again after they just moved in before COVID. If we had the option to cancel our NEXT stop then we had stayed longer for sure! I will give them a 10 out of 10 for everything! Really recommend this place to everyone. Thanks again Cherry and Andrew for everything, we will definitely come again when we are in Plettenberg Bay!

We were welcomed very nicely and got a beautiful large room with a large balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was good with egg dishes of your choice, coffee, tea and fruit juice. Good restaurant and excursion tips rounded off the picture. The car could be parked safely on the property. We will definitely be back.

What an incredible weekend stay at Cherry and Andrew’s guest house. From the warm welcome, cozy rooms and delicious breakfasts to the gorgeous view of the ocean from our rooms, it was a perfect stay for a three night getaway. Cherry and Andrew were also able to suggest and book fantastic restaurant dinner options for us and the location was a short walk to Barringtons, the Fat Fish and Ski Boat club which was great. Would highly recommend a stay with them and will definitely book there again for our next stay.

Fantastic B&B. The rooms and the whole house are very comfortable and with impressive sea views in a beautiful location. The breakfast from Andrew and Cherry is the best we had on our trip, they are doing their best to accommodate their guests. You feel in the best hands with them, they are wholeheartedly there and we can only recommend staying at Andrew and Cherry for our stay in Plett.

Two nights stayed in this great location. The owners Cherry and Andrew were very helpful, came with good advice and wanted to make a nice time for us. And it certainly did! Right from the first moment we felt more than welcome. Rooms are very spacious and have a large comfortable bed and both a shower and a bath. The view is amazing, I doubt this could be better than this Plettenberg Bay location. Breakfast was a wide choice of dishes and very tasty. We’ve had a lot of stays in South Africa but this one is in our top three!

First of all, the special friendliness and helpfulness of the two hosts – the best we have experienced on our trip. They reserved all the restaurants for us and organized the taxi. then the exceptional view from both the rooms and the breakfast room and the terrace. the breakfast was great (here there was even fresh grain bread every day!). the rooms very bright (wide glass front with a view of the sea and a beautiful garden) and comfortable with a large bathroom.
